As far back as I can remember, I had a healing effect on others through my touch, art, songs, and poetry. Along with my gift of intuition, I was afforded a variety of opportunities to use my God-given talents to reach out and touch people. The nursing profession was a natural calling for me.

Over the past eleven years, I also studied several natural healing modalities and became a Reiki Master and a reflexologist with my own alternative health practice.

Poetry was always a part of my soul expression. I wrote my first poem when I was only six years of age. I awoke in the middle of the night with a poem about a red rose just begging to be written.

To this very day, some of my best poems are conceived during my sleeping hours ~ perhaps with some divine assistance?

Over the past six years, my passion for writing poetry has produced over 1,400 poems in a variety of styles and subject matter. Everything that I have ever witnessed, experienced, felt, thought, or dreamt of in my life has been grist for the “poetic mill.”

It is my hope that Musings of an Earth Angel - my first book of poetry - will provide readers with a “feel good” reading experience and perhaps provoke pleasant thoughts and memories of their own.
